Register for Activities
When you
are ready to register, there are five ways:

Helpful Hint:

Registrations are processed first-come, first served. Online
registrations receive highest priority because they can be accomplished
without staff assistance. Walk-in and telephone calls are given priority by
the office staff, with the mail and drop box registrations processed as
time permits. |
Evaluate
Activities
Instructors are provided with
evaluation forms for participants to complete at the conclusion of the program.
If you recently participated in an activity and did not complete and return the
form, or if you prefer to submit it directly to the recreation office, use one
of the following methods:

PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Participants must pre-register for all programs. No one is allowed to sign up at
the program site. Click on the
registration page
for more information. Contact the recreation office at 920-9515 if you have any questions.
Special Note: In order to conduct registration as fairly
as possible, we must limit the number of registrations for the same program to four
individuals (does not apply to immediate family members). Thanks for your cooperation!
TWO PRICES?
Residents of
participating communities (all townships and boroughs in the West Shore School
District
except for Wormleysburg) receive a discount on programs. The first price listed
is for others.
Please note some programs have an additional WSSD Facility Use Fee.
NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!
Once you have registered for a program, a link to your receipt
will be sent by e-mail. Otherwise you will not hear from our office unless
- There is a change in the time or day
- The activity is full
- You have provided us with a self-addressed, stamped envelope
or paid a $1 handling fee
So mark your calendar and plan to attend!

FIRST DAY OF REGISTRATION IS
Tuesday, May 7th!
So that everyone has a chance to receive their brochure in time to make activity
selections,
the first day registrations will be accepted is Tuesday,
May 7th at 8:30
am for residents of participating communities in West Shore Rec.
Non-residents may register
Tuesday, May 14th or after 12:00 noon the day before the program begins
(whichever is sooner).
JOIN THE WEST SHORE REC TEAM
Applications are now being accepted for part-time employment of lifeguards, water safety
instructors, pre-school and youth program instructors/supervisors, and adult
enrichment
education instructors.
If you have skill and are willing to share it, contact the recreation office at

wsrec@wsrec.org and we will be happy to send you
an application or a course description form.

Cancelled Activities?
Too often quality activities and trips are cancelled because too many
people wait until the last minute to register. Almost every activity has a
minimum number of enrollees needed to cover the expenses or to make it
enjoyable (think team sports). If you see an activity you like, don’t
hesitate to sign up to recreate!
