West Shore Recreation Office

The Rec office is located at 704 Lisburn Road
at the corner of Lisburn Road and Cedar Run Drive,
just across from Rolling Green Cemetery.

Directions from I-83:

From I-83, take the New Cumberland Exit, 40B.
Travel west on Carlisle Road approximately 1 mile, passing Cedar Cliff High School, Highland Elementary School and Rolling Green Cemetery.
Take the first left after the cemetery, turning onto Lisburn Road.
The office is the 3rd building on the right, on the corner of Lisburn Road and Cedar Run Drive.

Take I-83 South to Exit 35 - Lewisberry.
Bear right at the stop sign to the traffic light.
Turn left at the light onto Rt. 177 and proceed 6/10 mile to Alfred Drive.
Turn right onto Alfred Drive and go for 1 block.
Turn right onto Catherine Court.
Ballroom Break is the second house on the right, a blue two-story. The entrance is in the rear.

Gifford Pinchot State Park - Conewago Day Use Area
I-83 South to exit 35 (Route 177). Turn right at stop sign at end of exit ramp. Make left at traffic signal and follow Route 177 south/west to Lewisberry. At flashing red light in Lewisberry, go straight. Travel approximately 2.6 miles to Alpine Rd. Turn left onto Alpine Rd. (old stone schoolhouse is on the corner). Follow Alpine Rd. approx. 2.3 miles to sign reading Conewago Day Use Area, turn right into Pinchot Park. Go straight to "T" and then turn left. Interpretive Center is straight ahead.

Lemoyne Borough Building - 510 Herman Avenue, Lemoyne (717) 737-6843
The building is located between 5th and 6th Streets in Lemoyne. Herman Avenue runs parallel to Hummel Avenue.

Rainbow Vision Glass Center - 3105 Walnut Street, Harrisburg 717-657-9737
I-83 North to Exit 50 B (Colonial Park) and bear west onto Route 22, which also becomes Walnut Street. Travel approximately 2 miles . After crossing over Progress Avenue, Rainbow Vision is one block on the left side (next to Hetrick's Funeral Home).

Red Land Senior Center - 850 Whisler Road, Etters 717-938-4649
-Traveling on I-83, take exit 32 - Newberrytown. Bear East on Route 382 toward York Haven. Pass Paddletown and Valley Green Roads (on the left). Turn left onto Whisler Road. The center will be on the right side of the road, just before a church. Click here for map

Total Equine Learning Center: 645 Saw Mill Road, Mechanicsburg. (717) 766-4035
The Total Equine Learning Center is located on Copper Penny Farm, approximately 2 miles south of Lower Allen Community Park.

- From I-83 or Rt. 15, take the Rt. 114 exit to the village of Lisburn
- At the four-way stop (Rt. 114 and Lisburn Road) turn south onto Lisburn Road in the opposite direction of Lower Allen Community Park
- Cross bridge and bear right on Andersontown Road
- Turn at first left onto Saw Mill Road
- Go 1 mile to driveway on left

Valley Green Golf Course: 1227 Valley Green Road, Etters/Valley Green. (717) 938-4200.
From the north: I-83 South, to exit 33 - Yocumtown. At the stop, turn right onto Old Trail Road to the traffic light at Yocumtown Road (Rt. 392). Turn right. Follow Yocumtown Road to Valley Green Road. Right on Valley Green Road. Golf course on the right.

From the south: I-83 North to exit 33 - Yocumtown. At stop, turn left onto Old Trail Road to the traffic light at Yocumtown Road (Rt. 392). Turn right. Follow Yocumtown Road to Valley Green Road. Right on Valley Green Road. Golf course is on the right.

West Shore Sportsman's Association: 500 Ridge Road, Lewisberry, PA, 717-932-2780
- Take Route 83 South from Harrisburg.
- Exit Route 83 at Exit 39A, Rte. 114 New Cumberland.
- At the stop sign at the end of the ramp, turn left.
- Follow road for 2 miles to the intersection of Rtes 114 and 262
- At the intersection, you will be directly across from the Cedar Lodge Bar. 7. Turn left onto Rte 262, also called Fishing Creek Road.
- Follow .4 mile at church, turn right onto Ridge Road.
- After .9 miles turn left pass Blue House onto Clegg's Pl.
- Follow the lane thru gate to Clubhouse. (Keep speed down to 5 miles on lane before gate.)
This lane is shared with other neighbors and is a single lane street with a pass area halfway down the lane.

Summer Blast Sites

Rossmoyne Elementary - Located at 1225 Rossmoyne Road, Mechanicsburg near the Rossmoyne Business Park.
From Rt. 15, take the Rossmoyne/Wesley Dr Exit. Bear east on Rossmoyne Rd. Proceed through traffic light at Louise Dr./Westport Dr. School is on the left. (Meet behind school near pavilion and blacktop).

Roof Park - From I-83, take exit 39A - Lewisberry Road. Proceed west on Lewisberry Road (Rt. 114) toward Mechanicsburg. Pass Fairview Elementary on the left. Pass Spanglers Mill Road. Turn right into Roof Park, just before the Fairview Township Building at 599 Lewisberry Road. (Meet at the large pavilion, closest to the road.)
